![]() ![]() Am I the only person sick of this plot angle in the series? As a reader, I have no clue if Alice and Peter would be a better match than Jack and Alice because they never spend more than a few minutes together before being interrupted by someone else. Alice feels guilty, Jack is angry and jealous, and Peter is tormented. ![]() But just as quickly as the friendship/relationship between Peter and Alice grew, the book quickly retreated back to familiar territory done to death in the previous three books. I enjoyed the first third of the book because it finally developed the character of Peter and allowed the reader to know there's more to him than gorgeous good looks. Like other reviewers, I expected something different from the fourth book of a series, not more of the same. I enjoyed the first three books of the series but this one I wish I hadn't wasted my time with. ![]()
